Kanahau is a conservation research facility on the north side of the isalnd of Utila, Honduras. We primarily study all aspects of the terrestrial biodiversity and welcomes volunteers and researchers from all disciplines and fields to join us (February to September). The Centre offers full board accommodation, including three meals a day. The facility provides many activities for volunteers and researchers around their specific project, with active population monitoring taking place on a near daily basis across the island offering a wide range of research experience and training in survey techniques; covering costs of boat travel, kayak rental and all transport/food costs relating to field work.
