EDC is a self-financing Crown corporation supporting and developing Canada’s export trade by helping Canadian companies respond to international business opportunities. EDC actively recruit students in commerce, international business, finance, accounting and other disciplines. While the majority of EDC’s student positions are finance related, the organization also offers positions in risk management, insurance, computer science, communications, marketing, human resources, economics, sales and environmental sciences. Work terms are typically four or eight months in length and can be counted towards an accredited co-op program with your university.

The FSWEP provides full-time students with the opportunity to explore their interests and develop their skills. Work as: Student Boarder Services Officer, Student Guide in France, Student Capital Information Officer and Tour Guide , Student Security Officer, Student Guide-Interpreter, Inshore Rescue Boat Service Officer, and more. The campaign usually runs in October, November and January.

This cost-shared program allows students to address company-specific R&D challenges while gaining valuable industrial experience. Odyssey is an opportunity to dive deep into another language and culture while sharing your own; travel and explore Canada; earn an income and get bilingual professional experience.

An inter-institutional program of experiential learning and community building. Teams of students from Montréal universities will discover, participate and collaborate in projects and events in the Social Solidarity Economy (SSE). Each student will receive scholarships, training, continuous coaching, and grants to develop the skills and competencies needed to define and implement their collective initiatives to contribute to the dialogue of SSE within their peers. The Wall Street Exchange Summer Program (WSE) is a career development program designed to augment and coincide with the summer internship work experience of select qualified rising college seniors working as summer interns in the New York metropolitan area. The program consists of a series of events hosted by top firms and companies for professional and personal development.
The program is open to both women and men, and there is no cost to students to apply or participate.
Application deadline: May 15.
